The toolkit for career counsellors primarily contains materials required for the initial phase of preparation, which occurs before student placements begin. In this phase, career counsellors must provide guidance to young people and support them in selecting the most appropriate placement. During the implementation phase, career counsellors do not have a role. In the follow-up phase, they are expected to conduct a counselling session with students to assess the skills acquired during the placement, update their CV and cover letter, and prepare a plan for the next steps in their career path.
