On Tuesday, 16 June 2026, academic mentor prof. dr. Tomaž Deželan, workplace mentor Živa Lopatič from the BUNA z.o.o. cooperative, and students, as part of the project Power dynamics between the global North and South: The case of fair-trade policies , discussed the political dimensions of producer representation, standard-setting, and the influence of certification bodies, and debated the challenges and dilemmas students face in the project. Working in pairs, the students began preparing drafts of their research assignments. The workplace mentor also shared knowledge, experience, and best practices with the academic mentor.
