4th Study visit in the framework of the SMEQA project

As part of the Erasmus+ project Strengthening Capacities and Mechanisms for Enhancement of Quality Assurance System in Higher Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SMEQA), we organised a study visit at the Faculty of Social Sciences University of Ljubljana. This three-day event brought the project partners together to explore internal quality assurance systems and share best practices in higher education.

Participants gained insights into the University of Ljubljana’s PDCA-based quality assurance system and its integration into fields of teaching, research and support in order to promote continuous improvement and a culture of quality throughout the institution.

The study visit included comprehensive presentations on quality assurance practices at study programme, faculty and university level. Particular attention was given to the processes of self-evaluation, the implementation and analysis of student surveys and the functions of quality commissions within higher education institutions.

Participants also took part in interactive workshops and structured discussions on the topic of internal quality assurance. At the end the visit provided an opportunity to review the progress of the SMEQA work packages, focusing on dissemination activities and the preparation of the interim project report.
