LJUBLJANA, 10. 11. 2020
CREST - First transnational project meeting

The first transnational project meeting took place on 10th November 2020. As this was the first meeting, it was also the official start of the whole project. All members of the project consortium (University of Ljubljana, Out of the Box International, Xwhy, Vytautas Magnus University, Culture Hub Croatia, Union of Baltic Cities) were present, and due to covid constraints, the meeting was held via the Zoom videoconferencing tool. Robert Marinšek, representative of the Slovenian National Agency, was also invited to the meeting. The meeting started with a short welcome by Dr. Tomaž Deželan and an introduction of the University of Ljubljana team members. Then all participants were given the opportunity to introduce themselves, their organisation and their professional tasks. The second item on the agenda was a presentation by R. Marinšek on the main features of the programme, followed by a presentation by Vika Pušnik, representative of the University of Ljubljana project office, on the administrative and financial aspects of the project. Participants also had the opportunity to ask the speakers questions about their presentations and were invited to send additional questions by e-mail. The meeting continued with a presentation of all the intellectual outputs, deliverables and deadlines that the project partnership had committed to in its proposal. Žemartas Budrys from Xwhy, as the lead partner of the first IO, gave a brief presentation on the current state of play of the IO. He pointed out that they have already started working on the IO, which will be uploaded to the Google Drive folder dedicated to the project, and asked for partners' comments on the proposed plan and timeline. The meeting continued with a discussion on dissemination and sustainability activities led by Out of the Box International. Marko Paunović gave a brief overview of the activities. On the last item of the agenda, partners discussed the timing of future meetings, both international project meetings and regular online meetings. The consortium also agreed that if partners need to meet bilaterally, they should communicate this as soon as possible. Regular communication by e-mail is also encouraged.
