On Thursday 14th November 2024 at Faculty of Social Sciences University of Ljubljana  a discussion on youth, the youth sector and youth policy in Slovenia over the last three decades was held. The discussion was moderated by Professor Tomaž Deželan, editor of the long-awaited book that forms the basis of the whole debate. He spoke with the co-authors Tin Kampl, former Director of the Slovenian Youth Office and former President of the Slovenian Youth Council, and Andraž Zgonc, long-serving secretary at the Slovenian Youth Office. Professor Howard Williamson of the University of South Wales and author of the accompanying foreword also took part in the discussion, linking the book to wider processes in the youth field. The event was organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana in cooperation with the Slovenian Youth Office.
