Damjan Lajh is a Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, and Head of the Centre for Political Science Research. His research focuses on public policies, EU policy-making, Europeanisation, governance, and lobbying. He has published extensively, including in leading international journals and with publishers such as Routledge and Palgrave Macmillan. He has led seven EU-funded projects, including Jean Monnet Chairs and a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, and co-mentors students for EU policy simulations. He has served as a national expert for Freedom House, Transparency International, and the V-Dem Project. In 2019, he received the European Commission's Altiero Spinelli Prize for Outreach.
