Marko Hočevar is a postdoctoral researcher and Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. His research focuses on contemporary state, history of political thought, neoliberal political and social theories, comparative political economy, and EU employment policy. He has led multiple research projects, including studies on state and employment policy in the context of the COVID-19 crisis and the interplay between the EU and its member states in employment policymaking. He also led the University of Ljubljana team in the Erasmus+ project MORDOR and has served as the president of the Slovenian Political Science Association since 2023.
