During EUTOPIA week hosted by University of Ljubljana, FLECSLAB partners finally met face to face in Ljubljana and the project officer Milena Sitar Matelič from Slovene National Agency had an opportunity to witness the work done under less than a year under the project. Tomaž Deželan briefly summarised the activities in the project from July 2022 to October 2022. As part of the UL work, the FLECSLAB website was set and updated. In WP1 - Toolbox for Lifelong Learning - semi-structured interviews were conducted with the leaders of the four learning communities and the expert panel was involved in a workshop held in Brussels 28-29 October 2022.
Rosette S'Jegers, Melina Delmas and Jo Angouri gave the detailed follow-up: interviews were conducted with the leaders of the 4 Connected Learning Communities (CLCs): 'Leading Strategic Innovation in Healthcare', Entrepreneurship: 'Technological Business Development', Education: 'Urban Education' and Media & Communication: 'Fundamentals of TV Direction " with the following topics explored: the lead's position and experience with LLL, the lead's vision for the learning community, and the outcomes and business model. The report focuses on three dimensions: (1) co-creation, collaboration, connectedness; (2) organisational capacity and (3) networked and international institution.
For the WP2 - Lifelong Learning Business Model, in line with the project timeline, work will start next year – setting up Advisory Board and preparation of the paper to identify barriers and enablers for maintaining LLL capacity by University of Gothenburg researcher – are two key tasks. FLECSLAB will also focus on establishing deeper links with professional organizations and actors in society that are crucial in the ecosystems of the EUTOPIA learning communities and developing contract-based partnerships for the future.
