

In December 2023, a handbook by University of Ljubljana researchers entitled "Practical training in higher education" has been published.The handbook is intended to improve the quality of practical training (PT) for higher education students, for all current and future tutors of higher education students in PT, and for tutors in organisations, companies and institutions where PT is delivered. It is useful for all students undertaking PT at home and abroad, and for practitioners working in the field of tutoring in PT.
The work is available in digital form from the University of Ljubljana Press for download.
The workshop will take place at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences (FDV-3 Hall), 15 April 2024, with the start at 9.00 am..
Authors prof. dr. Monika Govekar Okoliš Faculty of Arts, prof. dr. Ivan Svetlik, prof. dr. Tomaž Deželan and mag. Manca Drobne from the Faculty of Social Sciences will give an introduction on how work can be used as a tool for professional practice in higher education.

We will continue with free interactive workshop on how to implement TA in a digital environment, for all interested parties. More information is available here.
The workshop, presenting tools and a framework for the implementation of the PU in a digital environment, is the result of a consortium project eWBL "The workshop is aimed at all those involved in the design and delivery of practical training in higher education (programme administrators, placement coordinators, placement mentors, mentors in work organisations, practitioners involved in the design and delivery of placements, students actively involved in VET). Invitation - How to plan and deliver quality practical trainingThe workshop will be conducted interactively, live on day 1, 15 April 2024, after the presentation of the manual, followed by 3 short training sessions in an online environment. The training will prepare you for the successful and quality implementation of the TA in a digital environment, and upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate (orig. "Master Trainer«).
