The aim of the project was to create an overview of best existing practices and to present innovative solutions for the development of learning content for teaching and distance learning in higher education in the field of entrepreneurship, accessible to differently-abled students, with a focus on content accessible to blind, partially-sighted, deaf and hard-of-hearing students.The aim of the project was to develop and present innovative solutions for the development of content for teaching and distance learning in higher education in the field of entrepreneurship, accessible to differently-abled students, with a focus on content accessible to blind, partially-sighted, deaf and hard-of-hearing students. The key themes addressed by the project relate to inclusive (higher education) systems, the design of digital education systems adapted to differently-abled students and the promotion of innovative (digital) teaching practices. The ground-breaking project, led by a consortium of seven prominent European organisations, aims to revolutionise the educational environment for students with disabilities and focuses on promoting entrepreneurial skills through distance learning curricula tailored to the needs of these individuals. Engaging and empowering students with different abilities

Within the framework of the Higher Education Curriculum and Transition Programme for Empowering Students with Different Abilities (DIFFABILITY) project, we have organised an event for students of the Faculty of Education from the second largest university in Slovenia - the University of Maribor. The main topic of the event was the presentation of the results of the DIFFABILITY project with a special focus on the possibilities of practical application of the service package for higher education institutions.

The DIFFABILITY project has been highlighted by the European Commission as an example of good practice.

The DIFFABILITY project, in which the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana participated, was recognised as an example of good practise in improving the accessibility of higher education for students with disabilities as part of the AccessibleEU initiative.
