This report aims to synthesize the findings of the case studies showing how the WBL to eWBL transition was accomplished. The document intends to indicate the best practices observed, highlight the solutions proposed by companies and HEIs to minimize the challenges faced by this training model, and thus broaden the discussion on the topic and raise awareness of the benefits that this modality can bring to the workforce's development.

In recent years, education has moved from physical to digital spaces. This new type of learning - e-learning - has many advantages, but it also has some disadvantages. Nevertheless, e-learning was quite positively received in the academic community until the global pandemic COVID-19 forced most of the world to switch to distance learning. During the crisis, many academic institutions, students and teachers had the unpleasant experience of having to switch to e-learning completely and without preparation.

The consortium of partners of the project 'PLACEDU - A Digital Social Space for the Next Normal Education' is proud to present the curriculum for digital training in teaching and distance learning. The training is designed for teachers to support their efforts to create an inclusive community in the digital space. The PLACEDU project (Digital Social Space for the Next Normal Education) publishes a meta-platform on the field of distance teaching and learning. It covers existing and new approaches to teaching and learning in digital environments that are used or suitable for use in higher education institutions.
