The project strengthens EU education in schools and vocational education and training (VET) by providing structured training, innovative methodologies, and certified professional development for teachers. It offers targeted teacher training that combines practical classroom work, modular teaching materials, and interdisciplinary approaches. The project introduces research-supported pedagogical methods, including problem-based learning, gamification, flipped classroom techniques, and digital tools, ensuring that EU topics are taught in an engaging and learner-centred way. To promote sustainability, it establishes a community of good practice that brings together teachers, school leaders, and librarians, supporting mutual learning and long-term institutional uptake of EU education. A key innovation is the inclusion of connected libraries as dynamic learning spaces where students engage in inquiry-based learning, guided discussions, and research projects on European issues. This approach extends EU education beyond the classroom and strengthens critical thinking, media literacy, and civic engagement. By working with schools, VET providers, and education stakeholders, the project aims to institutionalise EU education as a key component of teacher training to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for active citizenship in a democratic EU.
